Setting the DIP Switches

If you need to change settings, follow the steps below to make your changes:

Turn off the printer and unplug the power cord and all cables from the printer before

removing the DIP switch cover, to avoid an electric shock.

Be sure to turn the printer on its side with the ink cartridge side facing down when

you access the DIP switches. Do not turn the printer upside down since it may cause

ink leakage. After turning the printer back upright, check whether it prints properly.

1. Make sure the printer is turned off and power cord is unpluged and all cables are

disconnected.

2. Remove the screw from the DIP switch cover. Then take off the DIP switch cover, which is

shown in the illustration below.

Attaching or Replacing the Power Switch Covers

WARNING:

If an accident occurs when either power switch cover is attached, unplug the power

cord from the outlet immediately to avoid fire or shock.

You can use either or both of the enclosed power switch covers to make sure that a power switch

is not accidentally pressed.
