7. Cross out a number from the table on the label of the ink discharging cartridge. If the cartridge is used

more than 26 times, do not use it.

8. When the PAPER OUT LED blinks, replace the ink cartridge with the ink discharging cartridge.

9. Press the PAPER FEED button. The printer begins the head exchange sequence and blinks the

POWER LED.

10. When the head exchange sequence is finished, the POWER LED blinking stops and the PAPER OUT

LED blinks.

11. Turn off the front power switch. The printer moves the head carriage to the left end position before the

power goes off.

12. Make sure the POWER LED goes off; then turn off the rear power switch.

13. Remove the ink discharging cartridge and paper roll.
