Air pressure sensor
The air pressure sensor is mounted on the Main circuit board. The printing control is performed
according to the ambient pressure of the printer. The pressure specification for this printer is as
follows:
Pressure (Altitude): 700 to 1050 hPa (approximately
20 m to 2000 m height above the sea level)
RTC and lithium battery
RTC backed up by a charging-type lithium battery is mounted on the Main circuit board. The
printer controls the control operations such as head cleaning according to the RTC time
information. The time setting of RTC is not required.
I/F board Unit
The I/F-Board Unit controls communication between the host computer and the TM-J8000.
Three different board units are available, as follows:
•UB-S01:RS-232 compatible serial interface
•UB-S02:RS-422 compatible serial interface
•UB-P02:IEEE1284 compatible parallel interface
Power circuit board assembly
The power-board assembly generates the four voltages: +5V, +24BV, +35V, and +37V. These
voltages are passed to the main board unit and then used to power the various circuits on the
main board unit, as indicated in the Table below.
