To remove it, use a flathead screw driver or similar tool.
You can turn on or off the power switch using the two holes on the cover. Insert a pointed object
into the holes and press the power switch.

Roll paper cover does not open (roll paper cover button does not work)
1. Open the auto cutter cover.
2. Then turn the knob until you see in the opening, as shown in the illustration below. This
returns the cutter blade to the normal position. Also notice that there is a label near the cutter
to assist you.
3. Close the cutter cover.
4. Pull up the roll paper cover by hand.
Notes:
Other than a paper jam, the auto cutter locking up could have been caused by a foreign object such
as a push pin or paper clip. If this is the case, follow the same procedure described above to return
the cutter to its normal position.
Do not open the cutter cover unless you find that the roll paper cover does not open.
