*EGA cards support only EGA monitors.
When you are installing the video card, check to make sure
any switches or jumpers on the card are set properly. For
example, you may need to change a switch setting to select
color or monochrome. See the documentation that came with
your monitor or video card for instructions.
Once you have installed your video card, return to this section
to connect your monitor to the computer. If your monitor
came with its own manual, follow the instructions there.
Otherwise, you can follow the steps in “Using the VGA
Interface” above; just insert your monitor connector into the
video card port instead of the built-in VGA port.
