EPSON TM-P60 brings the mobile

PoS to customers

The EPSON TM-P60 series is a mobile thermal receipt printer ide-

ally suited for the requirements of the hospitality market and other

mobile applications. The compact device, which is worn on the belt,

provides outstanding quality throughout particularly long operating

periods – a single charge enables the printing of approx. 250 re-

ceipts. The integrated receipt cutter is a unique feature in wire-

less receipt printers; it guarantees both easy receipt removal and

neat cutting edges. Furthermore, the EPSON TM-P60 is extremely

robust in operation: It can survive falls of up to 1.2 metres and is

spray and dust resistant. Replacing paper and batteries is rapid

and easy, and can be carried out with a single hand.

Instant Compatibility

The EPSON TM-P60 is a sophisticated device developed for appli-

cation with the EPSON T88, thus also featuring the ESC/POS

command set. In addition, the TM-P60 is supplied with a Windows

driver, OPOS and JavaPOS support to enable operation with all

current POS systems and wireless terminals. The integrated RS-

232 and 802.11b or Bluetooth interfaces provide easy connec-

tivity to existing systems.

No more tearing: Integrated receipt cutter

The printer’s user-friendly concept enables particularly smooth op-

eration and rapid processing for frequently changing serving staff. A

significant component of this concept is the integrated autocutter;

when the EPSON TM-P60 prints a receipt, it is automatically cut off

– without falling to the ground. Thus, easy removal of the receipt is

guaranteed and it is ensured that the customer obtains neatly-

edged receipts. Since this also reduces dust permeating into the

mechanics, the printer’s reliability is also well above average.

Quality, speed and endurance

Like all EPSON thermal receipt printers, the TM-P60 provides out-

standing printing quality. It can print on paper widths of 58 or 60 mm

– at 58 mm width and produces 35, 42 or 52 characters per line (at

character sizes 12 x 24, 10 x 24 or 8 x 16 dots) on paper.

In particular, the EPSON TM-P60 features high speed, long operat-

ing periods and robustness. Printing up to 80 mm per second max,

there are no queues or delays whilst paying. The printer can gener-

ally be used for an entire shift as one recharge is sufficient for

approx. 250 receipts. The optional quick charge unit recharges

empty batteries in approximately two hours. The EPSON printer's

robust design guarantees a secure return on investment. On street

sales, event sales or as parking ticket printer – within one year,

depending on use.
